Clown, unknown name, unknown stories or inspiration of the medal. One of my most treasured medals.

 

 

 

THE RUBBER CHICKEN

 

 

is by far one of my top 5 faves of the Fiesta Medal Collection.

Why?  Why not?

He is cute, funny, unique, and he is the first medal I have "wrangled" all by my self.

 

This medal came from an adorable clown.

 

I was so scared to go up and ask him for a medal.

 

Finally I screwed up the courage, approached him, and told him I would buy him a water, a coffee, the drink of his choice if he could just tell me what to do to earn a medal.

 

He looked at the desperation in my eyes. 

 

I don't know if the look he was giving me was humor or pity, but he was kind enough to give my first "earned it all on my own" medal to me.

 

I got this back in 2011.  Long before I ever thought to do a blog so I can't properly credit the contributor, but if any one out there reading this and knows any thing about the person who had those, please pm me the information.  I would love to contact him to thank him again in person.
